Cool wedding guest book

Wednesday, May 6th, 2009

The amount of possibilities can be overwhelming when you’re when putting together a ceremony and reception, but it’s also quite a thrill at the same time. I know that when I tried to assist my daughter in planning her wedding, the biggest challenge was trying to get her to settle on one choice. The initial decision was just the overall genre of the wedding: something old-fashioned, or a trendier style of ceremony. She studied every possible variety that we could think of, and she just ended up getting more and more confused. For her special day, she thought about building the wedding around a lakeshore setting, and then she considered a wedding in an outdoor garden setting. Having a standard wedding ceremony and reception was what my daughter decided, at last, would be the best option for her. Once she made up her mind at last, we got to work putting together the wedding.
We shipped out the invitations, and we signed up to reserve the church for the ceremony and a reception hall for the reception dinner. We focused on the materials we’d need for the reception dinner since her wedding gown and the outfits for the bridesmaids and groomsmen had already been selected. In addition to finding a wedding guest book and a picture album, there were some other things that we had to pick out yet. We looked through a cool selection of wedding guest books, some with so many lovely designs to choose from. We had our pick of adorable wedding pens that went with the guestbooks, too. We weren’t quite done picking things out yet and my daughter saw this wedding set with a white satin cover and bow, with rhinestones, that had six pieces. There was a lovely unity candle, ring pillow, flower basket and wedding garter. A
wedding photo guest book came with it. We were so surprised to find so many beautiful wedding items all in one set for one low price. The picture album we picked out for the special day was really cute; it had all kinds of neat pages for small souvenirs and art. It really was a beautiful photo album.
Finally we were down to the cake topper, place card holders and wedding favors. Everything else was taken care of. A couple of doves formed out of glazed porcelain were what my daughter selected to put at the top of her wedding cake. That wedding cake topper will make a lovely keepsake. Next we went for the place card holders, and for those my daughter decided to go with little silver picture frames for all of her guests at the reception. She said she liked those best because after the reception the guests could take them home and use them to display their favorite little picture. She did alright picking out her wedding accessories and reception supplies. The extra cash she was able to hang on to by finding good deals is going to get spent when they go on the honeymoon.
The look and experience of our wedding day was a smashing success with our guests. When the bride and groom did their first dance, it was a stunningly beautiful moment. We all did a lot of dancing that night, and I swear my feet still hurt, but it was all worth it, it was a wonderful event that I will remember forever. My little girl was now a wife and would someday be a mother, maybe with a daughter of her own. I’m sure that when the time comes to pick out accessories and gifts for the baby shower, I’ll know right where to go. Whatever you’re planning a party for, that website has anything you could possibly need. That’s the first place I look to buy things for any party.

Choosing wedding guest book

Thursday, April 16th, 2009

There wasn’t a bridal shop or accessories store I hadn’t checked for my wedding album and wedding guest book. I got so tired of going store to store that I almost decided to tell my fiance, I’d rather elope. One of the girls at work told me to give the internet a try. So I decided to take a look online. And you know what? Not only did I find the wedding guest book I wanted, but a lot of my other wedding accessories too.

The guestbook was so beautiful and perfect for a fairy tale wedding. I even found the perfect storybook pen and holder to go with it. I also found our wedding album and lots of other great fairy tale themed ideas. I had no idea there were so many great ideas for wedding décor and such a big selection of accessories available. I found items for my flower girl, ring boy and bridesmaids, and my fiance found the perfect groomsmen gifts for the guys and his best man.

It was so nice getting all these accessories in one place. Naturally, we went to the caterers for our food, the bakery for our cake and found a photographer and entertainment. I got almost every accessory I needed for our wedding and reception online, and the wedding attire, of course, we had to go to shops for. The accessories for our wedding, like the gorgeous guest book wedding items, didn’t cost us as much as I thought it would. We got a discount on quite a few of our wedding accessories and decorations. That really helps on the wedding budget for two people just starting out.

The wedding favor suggestions were really nice and I took my time picking out just the right ones. I had to find the best possible thank you favors for our friends and family. The job of choosing favors was divided between me and my fiance, I bought for the girls and he bought for the men. We felt that was the best way to do it. I chose these lovely little wedding carriage candles for each of the ladies, that went perfectly with a storybook wedding. My fiance, being a man, chose some pretty cool shot glasses for the guys, even though it didn’t go with the theme, it was something they all liked.

I almost forgot to tell you, I ordered two guest books for our wedding. I wanted to have one that was only for the signatures of everyone at the wedding ceremony and the other was only used as a wedding guestbooks. I wanted to look back on our reception and remember the guests that were able to hang around to celebrate with us. And boy, did we celebrate! We must have danced and partied half the night. I’m so glad I picked out the perfect wedding album for our pictures, one with scrapbooking and a special compartment for keepsakes. It held a lot of little souvenirs of our wedding, like an invitation, wedding napkin and other memorabilia.

We were having such a wonderful time at the reception, we almost hated to leave, but we had a plane to catch for our honeymoon. Some of our friends and family wished us well, gave their congratulations and thanked us for inviting them to our reception. I hope everyone really had a great time, I know we did.

I had no idea where he was taking me for our honeymoon until we arrived. I couldn’t have been more surprised to find out we were spending the next seven days in Orlando at a Walt Disney World Resort. He said he wanted to keep the fairy tale alive just a little longer for me. I could hardly wait to get all the pictures developed and into my special album I bought just for our honeymoon photos.
