While I was planning our wedding and reception, a friend clued me in on a fantastic online shopping store where I could get great deals on wedding accessories and supplies. She was right, it was full of suggestions for everything from invitations to thank you gifts for the wedding party and guests. They had a variety of groomsmen gifts ideas that my fiance really liked. He said they were the best groomsmen gifts to choose from and he found a personalized glass mug as the groomsman gift he wanted to give the guys. I also found what I wanted for my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party. We also saved a lot of money on some great deals with discount items. Since we had planned our wedding date to be in December, I wanted to have a winter wonderland wedding and reception and this was the perfect place to get what I needed for it. I read about how now that a lot of churches don’t allow petals to be thrown at the bride and groom at the ceremony, that many couples are having the guests blow bubbles instead. This online shopping site I’m on has little bottled bubbles for just that purpose, with little bubble cards for hang tags, which I placed an order for.
You should see all the accessories I was able to get for our reception. I bought all the gifts for the entire wedding party from there, including gifts for the bridesmaids, flower girl and ring boy. We could cross off the list of things to buy as far as gifts for the groomsmen, my bridesmaids and the rest of the wedding party, so I could now choose thank you gifts for the guests. There were an awful lot of winter wonderland wedding favors to choose from for our reception. I decided on these really beautiful winter frosted glass votive candles for our friends and family as their thank you gifts. The glass candles had wintery snowflakes all over it. The votive candles came in adorable little wedding favor boxes with a lovely silver thank you tag attached.
The little snow ball ornament place card holders I bought make great little thank you gifts too. They had it all, winter themed champagne glasses and serving set and a funny winter wedding cake topper too. Our topper was of a bride and groom skiing and I had the top layer of our cake made into a mountain of snow for the happy couple to placed upon. The cake really turned out nice and I made sure there were lots of pictures of it for my gorgeous winter wonderland wedding album. Right after we took care of the cake cutting, and my brother in law toasted us, we stepped out on the dance floor for our first dance together as husband and wife. With all eyes on us as we danced, I felt as magical as a princess in a fairy tale.
The rest of the reception was just as perfect as the beginning, and everyone seemed to have a wonderful time. All of my girls in the wedding party loved their thank you gifts as did the guys and their wedding groomsmen gifts. Some of our friends and family expressed how much they really liked the thank you gifts they received and told us what a spectacular wedding and reception we had.
