Terrific Growth-RX!

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I was sitting on my couch thinking about how much better I felt about my body and about myself when I was in my twenties. I was physically fit and I liked working hard to stay that way. I never had any trouble picking up women when I was younger, and I may not have been a total hunk, but I definitely got some looks from some very beautiful women. Things like going to the beach or going to gym were always something I looked forward to because I could have fun, feel the adrenaline of getting a good work out in, and get some attention for my rather fit body.
It wasn’t that long ago in some respects, but the body I had was a long way from that time. It occurred to me that now I was spending time sitting on my sofa instead of being out exercising, and it was a no-brainer that I wasn’t going to pick up any women just lounging around my living room. The scary thing was, I was so out of shape that I wasn’t even sure if I wanted to be sized up by a woman anymore. I almost felt like I was the same individual I had always been, only now the body I was living in was totally different.
Then a friend informed me about this supplement he was taking, it was called Growth Rx, and he told me to go online and look up some Growth RX testimonial. There was no question that his physique had gotten terrific over the last few weeks, so I asked him if this was his secret, and he said that it was. It was common sense to go look into it.
And it definitely was worth looking into. There was a lot of information about Growth Rx Hgh, and I combed through every line of it. Many people were saying good things about it, so the next step was to figure out what was in the supplement. I don’t go for the synthetic stuff, so I was very happy to see that everything in this product was natural. When I saw that it offered higher energy and quicker healing of muscles after a work out, I opted to give it a shot; I had already seen that it would define muscles and reduce fat by looking at my friend’s body.
Was I ever impressed with the results. My waistline slimmed down to the smallest it’s been in years. The muscles in my arms and legs quickly became more defined. I was able to step up my work-outs considerably, and I don’t know if that was because my body was recovering so fast from the lifting I was doing or because I had so much more energy. I had dreamed so often of what it would be like to have the body that I did when I was twenty, and now I was getting to where that was actually beginning to happen. I didn’t just feel better physically, either; I was able to feel stronger and more stable emotionally as well, because I knew that I was doing the right thing for my body.
It obviously made me feel like a million dollars when I was out buying some food and a hot young lady stopped and stared at me for several seconds. I just stood there and enjoyed the moment. She wasn’t going to be the only girl getting an eyeful of me now that I was unlocking my physical potential with Growth Rx. I’ll still lay on the futon and take it easy, but I’ll have someone to relax with from now on.

Terrific Handkerchiefs

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Being my first time being married, I wanted to plan a picture perfect wedding shower. I knew I needed help, so I asked my sister if she wanted to help me. She said yes and was as happy as I was. I know there is a lot of work to be done when planning a shower and I was eager to get started. This was not my first time planning a shower and I knew how great my shower would be. I didn’t have a lot of time and I knew I better get started with the planning.
My sister and I looked for a hall big enough to fit all of my guests. We found one and it was near my house. We went on the computer to look for decorations and gifts. We saw so many themed wedding shower ideas that were cute. I bought all my decorations and gifts for the shower. I needed to find the shower favors. There was a lot to look at. This took some time to decide when looking at all the wonderful shower favors. We saw a terrific handkerchief that was so elegant, that I decided this is what I want to give my guests for a wedding favor. I thought I could purchase one for me and have it on me the day I get married. I saw a lace handkerchief that was awesome. I was positive that my family and friends would like the ladies handkerchiefs. My decision was to pick the lace handkerchief for my guests.
Everything was falling into place. We had the hall and ordered all the decorations, gifts and wedding favors. I had to decide what type of food I was going to get for my wedding party. I thought about catering it in, but that was expensive. I went through my recipes and found some awesome dinners and side dishes that we could make. Our local bakery makes cakes for showers, so that is who we ordered it from. Everything was ready. I found these awesome invitations and mailed them out to family and friends. All we had to do was wait until the day of the shower.
The day finally arrived and we went to hall to set up the shower. We had the hall decorated in no time. When we were done decorating the room, we couldn’t get over how awesome the room looked. I even took pictures to remember how it looked. We decorated the tables with a centerpiece and put the cake on the food table. Each setting had a cotton handkerchief. If you saw the room, you would say the room looked so elegant.
We all had an excellent time with my family and friends. We all enjoyed each other’s company. We enjoyed the games and feasted on some good food. I heard throughout the shower that my guests liked receiving the handkerchief as a gift. I couldn’t believe how many gifts I got from all my guests. I did not want my shower to end, because I had so much fun and so did my guests.
When all my guests were leaving, they all thanked me for such a good time and especially the handkerchief. I am so glad I went with the handkerchief for the wedding favor. My shower was a success and will be in my memory always. I am so glad that my sister was there to plan the shower with me. It meant so much to me that she was a part of this.|It made me feel good that she was by my side through this.|She really touched my heart during this.[/spin] That’s why I asked her to be my maid of honor.

Terrific hearts wedding

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

The theme they chose was a heart wedding, and it was a very loving one one for them to choose. Everything that had anything to do with the wedding had a heart design, the invites and gifts and everything. The pretty cheap hearts favors they sent out had a couple of silver hearts on the outside with the scheduling and contact information all printed so that it was right there when you opened it up. It was a handsome way to design an invitation. They picked out very elegant candle holders for the unity and tapered candles, and of course there were two small hearts dangling from the unity candle. The altar looked fabulous with all the lovely flower bouquets and the candle setting. Hearts were on the sides of the church pew where the wedding tulle was attached. I’m sure that the hearts were related to the wedding day falling on Valentine’s Day. The bride was so beautiful that you couldn’t take your eyes off of her, and she was the center of an unforgettable ceremony.
At the reception there were hearts and flowers everywhere you looked. All the centerpieces were bouquets of gorgeous red and white roses, with little hearts sticking out of each one, and they had little silver hearts wedding place card holders at each table setting. The tables all looked elegant with the sparkling champagne flutes and the lovely wine glasses. The bride arranged the tables beautifully. The champagne flutes were long stemmed crystal and the wine glasses were personalized with the names of the bride and groom and the date of their wedding. For the bride and groom, there were a couple of very richly adorned champagne glasses. They were double hearts wedding flutes, with the two silver hearts linked together, just like on the hearts wedding invitation they sent me.
The hearts wedding cake they had made had five layers and it was delicious. It looked as good as it tasted. They had a personalized wedding cake topper that was a spitting image of the two of them; come to think of it, this may have been the only item in the whole wedding that wasn’t a heart. They were really very unique, I’ve never seen a wedding cake topper quite like this one. She found it online at the same place she got the rest of the items she needed for her ceremony and reception. From a few pictures of the two of them, they created a look-alike cake topper figurine for each of them; it was very impressive. Something like this has to be a really super wedding keepsake.
In the end, we gave a terrific hearts wedding cake to all of the guests. First there was a lovely votive candle holder and also coffee favors decorated in a groom package for the men and a bride package for the ladies, with little heart shaped coffee scoops. I thought that was really a cute idea they came up with. Really, there was no shortage of awesome thoughts for the wedding. The whole hearts genre matched Valentine’s Day, but I was still surprised at how many supplies and wedding items she found to fit that theme. I still can’t get over how cool that cake topper was. That’s a great idea for a birthday or any other happy celebration. She told me they have supplies and decorations for many events, and promised to show me where she shopped. Well, anyway, the wedding ceremony and the reception were a definite success and everyone had a wonderful time. I’m sure the bride and groom are having a great week in Mexico too. I’m looking forward to hearing all about it, and checking out the photos when they get back. The pictures she showed me on the brochures were fantastic.

Terrific rubber duck favors

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

I associated babies with childhood, and I associate childhood with Ernie singing ‘Rubber Duckie You’re the One’ on Sesame Street. It seemed like a longshot, but I checked to see if there were any rubber duck favors available anyway, and I was pleasantly surprised. I got so many great ideas over the net, and finding adorable little accessories and supplies to go with a duck baby shower was easier than I had expected. You can can a ton of different duck favors online, not just for showers but for birthday parties for younger kids as well.
I was holding the shower in my rec room in the basement so I had plenty of room to set up indivdual tables to seat four guests at each. I put baby shower gifts in one corner, and then at the opposite end of the den was a table with appetizers, drinks, deserts, and a layered cake in the form of a rubber ducky and the words baby girl written on it. Each had a poster or two of Mickey Mouse or one of his friends; the ones of Daffy Duck and Daisy Duck were enormous.
I got pink picture frames with tiny ducks on the edges to use a place card holders for each person’s spot at a table. The punch bowl had ducks painted all over it, as did the plates, napkins, glasses, and favor candles that each guest received as a gift. I bought a bathtub for an infant that was in the form of a duck at a local retail place, and I put the punch bowl inside of it. It looked pretty adorable. I got some duck-shaped jello molds, and I put yellow water in them and froze them so that our ice cubes for the shower looked like little yellow ducklings. I went all out on this duck themed shower.
Other than a few things that people at school suggested to me, I borrowed most of my ideas from things I saw online. That’s where I found such cute little duck shower favors, like the terrific little rubber duck favor bookmarks and candle holders. Everyone thought they were so cute and they made super party gifts for the games we played too.
I filled a square tub with water and, prior to any guests arriving, I put a bunch of duck bath toys in it. Every duck had a number on the under side of it, and every guest grabbed one duck out of the tub as they walked in. We gave out a prize for the person who had the winning number, which I pulled out of a hat a bit later during the shower. We also did the old game where you try to guess which person belongs to which baby picture. Everyone was asked to bring a baby picture of themselves and I put them all on a board, and hung it on the wall. Each guest got a chance to check out the board and see how many pictures they were able to match up with the faces of the other guests. The one with the most correct matches won a prize.
We had a lot of fun, great laughs and the mother to be got some really neat gifts for her little girl. Going on the net to help me put together this shower was an outstanding decision. At first I wasn’t too sure about it, but it turned out to be a really great baby shower. The duck theme really was a cute idea.

Terrific ceramic wedding favors

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

There is a lot to planning a wedding and reception, but the one thing that seems to take the longest to decide, is what to get your guests as thank you gifts. You can go with lovely crystal favors, ceramic wedding favors, and even a more practical gift like household items. Whatever your preference, I found out there are an awful lot of each to choose from.
Even for the country western themed ceremony and reception I’m planning, I have run across great possibilities for ceramic favors for our guests. You can use just about any favor made of ceramic for almost any themed wedding you are planning. I found these little black ceramic wedding trays and tea caddys that I thought were really awesome. There were ceramic wedding gifts like candle holders, awesome tea lights, vases and more. I made wedding favor shopping the last thing on my to do list, because not only is it hard to choose the right gift, but there is just so much to choose from.
So, I decided to start with the decorations for my reception tables first. Picnic tables were the choice for my country western décor, and I put red and white checked tablecloths on each with daisies in little metal buckets to use as centerpieces. I bought adorable little barbecue grills as place card holders, which I let all the guests keep after the reception. Since we were having a family cookout instead of having our party catered, I thought the little grills were a nice added touch. There were also little cowboy hats at each place setting and cowboy boot glasses for the refreshments. As far as the ceramic wedding favors go, I didn’t go with the tea caddy, instead I opted for these adorable little honey pots with hearts on the dippers. They were the perfect choice for our country western reception and they looked so cute. There were also beautiful candle holders that would have made a special most terrific ceramic wedding gift for our guests, and I almost decided on that. Our tables looked fantastic and with all the surrounding décor accessories, it looked like the perfect down home celebration.
We had little twinkle white lights hanging all around the dance area, and piles of haystacks scattered about. A cowgirl with her rope tied to her grooms rope to have him hauled off to the preacher was the wedding cake topper we chose. We all had a good laugh from our whimsical cake topper. We all had a night to remember, with dancing, partying and lots of great laughs. The kids really had a great time on the hayride we had all fixed up for everyone, and that had to be one of the best times ever.
Our bridesmaids, groomsmen, and all the people that cared enough to be in our wedding party received nice little gifts from us too. For the men in the wedding party, my fiance had chosen these cool cowboy steins and thank you gifts, and I chose delicate little ceramic party favors for the ladies. But for the little flower girl and the ring boy we bought tee shirts that had flower girl and ringboy printed on them. Our wedding party and all our guests seemed to like the wedding favors we bought them.
I ordered bride and groom cowboy hats for me and my husband, a few accessories like an adorable western themed guest book and pen set, and a gorgeous wedding album to store the memories of today in. All in all, this country western themed wedding was really more than I had hoped for, it was spectacular and we all had such a great time.

Cheap but beautiful photo memory books

Monday, May 11th, 2009

We go through a lot of days that we’d like to remember forever in our lifetimes. Some examples of treasured memories are your baby shower, bridal shower, your wedding, and many others, to be sure. That’s why my photo memory books are some of the most treasured items in my home. I have  wedding book from the night my sister and my friends threw me a fabulous wedding shower. We took a lot of pictures that serve as wonderful reminders of what a fabulous night that was. I have shots of all the crazy stuff we got into that night, along with some of how gorgeous-looking the décor of the party was. The pictures we have really show just how outrageous that night became . I’ve even got a couple pictures of the male dancers we went to see. They were really awesome up there on the stage. That is definitely a night I’ll never forget, that was the first and only time I’ve ever been to a place that had male dancers. They may not have been in Playgirl, but they were definitely worth seeing.
One of the things I picked out when I was buying things for our wedding was a memory book. We had no shortage of pictures to put in it. As a matter of fact, we had so many that I bought a pair of them, and it turns out that we needed both of them. I ran out of space in the albums before the pictures were all filed. One album had a space for our wedding guests to write their names in it. We had my first initial and my husband’s first initial flanking the initial of our last name on the cover of our personalized memory books. These books have such a look of elegance with it’s satin ribbon and gorgeous fabric. Fortunately, you can add pages to them if you have to, which of course we did.
A lot of life-changing events are recorded in my photo albums. I’m sure as the years progress I’ll have even more keepsake memory books filling up my closet shelves. At the moment, I have books from my baby shower, wedding, and bachelorette party. My boy is one year old and my daughter’s about to turn three. Since we knew what we were having each time, I was able to order a pink book for her and a blue one for him. All of their momentous occasions are recorded in there, such as their first steps and baptisms. The baby memory books have pictures, handprints, and birth certificates stored there, too. The shower and wedding albums contain one of the inviations that were sent out for each occasion as well. I have so many memories stored in our closet that I could probably start my own picture gallery.
In spite of my husband’s frequent grumbling, I will keep those albums in my closet, because they are mementos of days that were special to me. But all that is about to change soon, because I’m clearing a couple of shelves in the family room for all the home movies that I’ll be recording on the new camcorder I just bought. I’ll probably have to make a lot more room, considering all the memory books we have and the ones I’ll be collecting through the next few years, plus plenty of videos of the kids growing up. Well, a person needs to be able to go back in time every now and then, that’s just a part of who I am. These years ahead are really important to a mom and I don’t want to miss out on one minute of it.

Cheap bride and groom gifts

Monday, May 11th, 2009

You get bride and groom gifts at wedding showers, bachelor parties, and bachelorette parties. Such get-togethers present a fun opportunity to give your almost-married friend a unique gift or two. A number of the gifts my husband and I got were rather remarkable. At our engagement party we got mostly cash in cards, which is also an awesome gift idea, but we got other things too that were really quite neat. Many of the presents we received from our friends and family were small items, like champagne for our wedding, gift cards, sports tickets, and theater tickets. We didn’t really expect many gifts, since gifts are optional at an engagement party, but a number of our relatives and friends got us some regardless.
At my husbands bachelor party the guys bought him some cool tee shirts that had things printed on it like, how he survived his bachelor party and one that just said groom on the front. He got more than one groomsman gift, including some wine bottles and a sun visor that said ‘Groom’ on it. Plus he got a few things that were gag gifts, like the inflatable lady they handcuffed him too, and the ball and chain they made him wear for the party. The guys had other funny groom wedding gifts they gave us, to ad to the merriment of his bachelor party. The bride gifts I received at my bachelorette party were sweet, although some were meant as gag gifts too. I received a present with a big ribbon on top that turned out to be an elegant white evening bag made of satin with a crystal clasp on it. There were some feminine items like a manicure set in the bag, along with a tee shirt and pin that were designed for the bride to wear at a bachelorette party. They got me a ‘tonight’ pillow that, when you flipped it over, said ‘not tonight’ to go with whatever mood I’m in. It was definitely an unusual and funny throw pillow.
At our wedding reception there were no gag gifts, just very nice bride and groom wedding gifts from all of our friends and family. We thought we might get some duplicate gifts, and we did, like a few blenders and a couple more toaster ovens than we really need, but that’s to be expected at such a large ceremony. I was fortunate enough to receive a certain food processor and some fine china that I had requested on my bridal registry. My mother- and father-in-law gave us a bar side set and a pool table, and my husband thought it was absolutely wonderful, and has already planned a get together with the guys. My parents got us tickets to Greece for our honeymoon. Our family and other loved ones really gave us some outstanding wedding presents.
They are what helped to make our day so special, just being there to share it with us, meant the world to both of us. We were able to spend our engagement party, wedding, and reception with them, and we are so glad about that. Being surrounded with great, supportive people like them is what makes life so much more enjoyable. It also helps to have friends that care enough to throw you a wild night with a bachelor party or a mind trippin girls night out bash. There is never a dull moment in our lives with the super great friends we have. Thank you notes could never begin to express how much we appreciate their love and support.

Cheap Party Invitations

Monday, May 11th, 2009

I’m giving my best friend a bridal shower and before I even got started I sat down and made a list of all the things I needed to buy for the party. The first priority was finding a party invitation. I checked out what the Internet had to offer because I don’t really like the hassle of shopping from store to store. I hit the jackpot there. I was really surprised to find so much and at such great prices. Some of the deals were just incredible. The script on the party invitations was silver, and the edges were pearl; they looked beautiful. The site also had standard party invitations, graduation party invitations, and many other types of invitations.
The place card holders they had were adorable, so I got those, along with other supplies. One of the things I found was a little bridal guest book for everyone to sign and for the bride, to be, to keep a record of every gift she received. A particular design for a place card holder struck me as being really neat. Pink lilies adorned the place cards I picked out, and each guest received brightly-wrapped candies in a small plastic purse. They looked so nice on the party tables along with the decorations and party favors I chose for everyone. No matter what the reason for the gathering, they have an appropriate favor box to go with it. The boxes I selected had floral designs, and I piled them neatly on a cake platter and set them on the table with all the presents. It looked very decorative like that and each lady just took a gift from the plate. I picked out a few kinckknacks as awards for winning the bridal shower activities we were going to play, and the thank you presents were sets that had everything you’d need to give a manicure. Some of the other odds and ends I used for door prizes were adorable little bath soaps, make-up mirrors, and novelty keychains.
I went online and got some great game ideas for the party too. There was a real funny one called ‘Take It Off ‘ where everyone puts a paper bag over their heads and then the hostess tells everyone to remove one article, and you’d be surprised how many ladies don’t think to remove the bag. This is really a hysterical game to play. We had a hoot playing bridal bingo and some other activities, too. I’m so glad I thought to browse the internet, else wise I wouldn’t have gotten such great deals and accessories. I know I got a super deal on the favors and invitations I picked out. Not only did I get high quality accessories, but they didn’t cost me half of what I had expected to pay for it all, and there were so many options to choose from. This site I found also has wedding invitations and favors, so I made it a point to inform my friend who was getting married about it, since I was sure she would want to know about this place. Getting her things for the wedding here will save her money and give her some great ideas to work with. The bridal shower wouldn’t have been as good without it. The attendees all adored their presents and had a wonderful time. The people who took the time to go to the shower will all get thank you cards, which I’m working on now. Which, by the way, I also ordered online. Next, I’m helping with my friends sons’ birthday party with the help of my favorite online store.

Cheap mikasa crystal

Monday, May 11th, 2009

The wedding I went to last week was all set up with gorgeous mikasa crystal accessories for all the reception tables. On every table were lovely mikasa crystals and mikasa crystal glasses. The bride really has excellent taste in wedding décor and knows how to set an exquisite table. With all the mikasa accessories she had on the tables, it was a picture of elegance.
The place cards rested on the tails of these very beautiful little silver doves. The elegance of her reception tables were enhanced by the lovely centerpieces she had chosen. A beautiful floral arrangement was placed around pillar candles as the centerpieces. Their choice of wedding favors were something to acknowledge too. Mikasa crystal wedding favors were given to each and every one of us. They chose lovely little gift boxes with hang tags that said thank you to package our gorgeous mikasa crystal favors in.
Deep chocolate cake with chocolate cream cheese topping each of the five layers with the fantastic wedding cake they had. As the cake topper she had a really unique idea. She shopped online for almost all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies and found out they customized cake toppers for weddings. All she had to do was send in a couple of head shots of her and her fiance and they customized bride and groom figurines that look exactly like the happy couple. It looked just like them. I was determined to find out what the name of her online wedding store was so I could have them make up a cake topper like that for my mom and dads’ anniversary wedding.
I think one of the funniest part of this whole thing was when it was time for the garter toss. Seeing all those men as their excitement grew when the garter was being removed by the groom. As the garter flew through the air, they were all falling into each other as they tried desperately to grab it up. What was really funny was that the winner of the garter toss was talked into participating by the other guys and he was a widower in his 70’s. As the old man walked off with the garter in hand he was smiling from ear to ear.
For the bridal toast we all had crystal champagne flutes, that we were also given to take home, with the names of the bride and groom, and date of the wedding printed on them. As soon as the toast was finished, the happy couple took to the dance floor for the traditional bride and grooms first dance. They made such an elegant couple as they danced across the dance floor. After their first dance was over, the dance floor was over run with couples. I think I over extended myself on the dance floor, my feet ached so badly.
Finally it was time for the bride and groom to depart for their honeymoon, and we all said our good byes. One of the other guests told me they were honeymooning in Hawaii. They’ll have a honeymoon to equal this fabulous wedding and reception. We all stay for quite a while after the bride and groom left and partied ourselves into exhaustion.
I received my thank you note for my gift and my presence at the wedding and reception, after only two weeks. She really got to these thank you’s quickly. She did let me in on her secret online wedding shopping site, where she supplied the mikasa wedding favor and ordered that  cake topper from. In fact, I’m getting ready to place my order right now for my mom and dad’s anniversary wedding.

Cheap jewelry box

Monday, May 11th, 2009

Today, we have watch jewelry boxes, earring jewelry boxes, other types of boxes for jewelry, but years ago, pretty much everything was put into standard jewelry boxes. The boxes can be designed in a wide variety of ways. The women who stood up in my daughter’s wedding all got a jewelry box from her, and she picked one out for herself as well. In fact, she found even more than that when she went shopping online for all of her wedding accessories and reception supplies. All kinds of ideas are on there for weddings in a specific theme, or more standard, old-fashioned types of weddings. The décor my daughter and her groom went with had a fairy tale look and feel to it. She really did look like Cinderella at the ball in her lovely wedding gown and long veil, and I must admit my son in law looked just as good as Prince Charming in his stunning tux. The ceremony was delightful. They left the wedding chapel in style, with a man in a tall white hat and long tails on his coat driving them away in a horse drawn carriage.
The reception had small white lights to add with the tulle that was draped above and tall flower vases scattered all about the room. The tables at the reception had silvery sparkles and wonderful flower arrangements, and the bride and groom table sat in front of an arrangement of red and white roses with ivy strung along an arch. For place card holders she found these silver dove tea light holders that really added glimmer to her settings. Flower and crystals adorned the small jewelry boxes that each lady at the wedding got as a gift. The men were given little key chains with the well known frog prince as a charm. The personalized jewelry boxes for the bridesmaids had black velvet-lined interiors and were made of wood and sliver-plated. My daughter and son in law had each of them engraved with the bride and grooms name and date of the wedding. The girls seemed to really like the thank you gift that my daughter picked out. It was a box like I used to have, I had no idea it was a cheap discount jewelry box, it was so expensive looking. Each of the groomsmen received a set of wine gifts and their names etched in a tiny plaque. I felt those were novel thank you gift ideas.
A tiny castle sitting at the top of the three-tiered wedding cake lent the cake a mystical appearance. My daughter picked out champagne flutes and a cake serving set to tie in with the fairytale-themed cake. The amount of money she saved was staggering considering that she didn’t skimp on quality. We offered to pay for the wedding, since we are the brides parents, but they both insisted they could do it themselves.
I cried as I watched them dance their first dance as husband and wife, it looked as if they were the only ones in the room. It truly looked like something out of a fairytale, just like the ball in the Cinderella story. The guys got so rowdy trying to catch the garter, during the garter toss, that they had me laughing to no end. Everything turned out perfect and my little girl got the kind of wedding and reception she always dreamed of. Her ideal honeymoon is where they are at the moment, and I’m sure it will be wonderful, too. When they return, I want a full description of all the wonderful places they visited while sight seeing.
